Made by Hella, this plug works with all European motorcycles equipped with factory installed small format 12v outlets. The coax connector fits most heated gear made by Gerbing, Warm & Safe, Tourmaster and many others.

Ideal to plug a controller direct into the vehicle's outlet without having to use a battery harness.
Make sure the 12v outlet is wired correctly and rated for high amp output.

To convert an installed heated gear coax battery connector to accept a 2 prong SAE plug used on many battery chargers.

Most battery chargers use the SAE connector while now almost all heated gear brands use the round 2.5mm coax connectors.

If you have a battery tender SAE pigtail on your vehicle, and want connect heated gear, it is better to swap out the SAE battery lead for a higher amp rated coax battery harness and use this adapter.
Most battery harnesses that come with battery chargers are only rated for 5 amp max draw. You do not want to power higher draw heated gear on a charger battery harness.
