If your Scorpion HX1 helmet is too tight on the cheeks, replace the pads with a size up.

Example, if your helmet is medium, install large pads.

There are limitations however.
Changing pads in the same helmet shell size is straightforward. Padding in the helmet shell size M/L is just going to be thicker or thinner. But the padding in the next shell size up or down is made to accommodate that extra or less space. 
Switching padding or liners between shell sizes is not recommended.
