WARNING!

Lithium motorcycle batteries offer several advantages over lead-acid batteries. Reduced weight being one. However, not all vehicles are equipped with an electrical charging system compatible with lithium batteries. There are several ways to rapidly kill your new lithium battery and void the warranty.

• Using a non-lithium specific charger / maintainer, often with reconditioning/desulfation mode, will destroy the battery. Even without recon modes, you cannot use a low amp non-lithium compatible trickle charger.
• Using a lithium battery, in a vehicle with constant systems or accessories drawing power, may deplete the battery too far to be recharged.
• A bad regulator sending peak charges or straight AC to the battery will end the battery's life quickly.
