Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) Separators for an advanced battery technology that eliminates the need to ever add water. Batteries are totally sealed and spillproof—all acid is absorbed in special plates and AGM separators. Featuring advanced lead-calcium technology, these batteries hold their specific gravity more than 3x longer than conventional lead antimony batteries.

This battery is supplied unfilled (dry charged) with a separate pre-measured acid pack.
The battery needs to be filled by the end user and charged before use.
Battery acid is a hazardous substance and needs to be handle with great care.
Always wear protective gear and handle in a well ventilated space.

Why purchasing a dry charged battery instead of a ready to use one?
The main advantage of purchasing an unfilled dry battery is its virtual unlimited shelf-life. All lead acid based batteries start their life cycle the moment the electrolyte is added to the battery.
A ready to use factory pre-filled battery, convenient as it is, can easily be already a year old before it reaches you, the end consumer.
